Our training methods are based on positive reinforcement techniques. We believe in rewarding desired behaviours, which helps build a strong bond between you and your dog. Our methods are designed to be humane, effective, and enjoyable for both dogs and their owners.
Each training session typically lasts 60 minutes. This duration allows sufficient time for practice without overwhelming the dog. We find this length helps maintain high levels of concentration and effectiveness.
We start training puppies as young as 8 weeks old, focusing initially on simple commands and socialisation. However, it’s never too late to start training, as we offer programs tailored to dogs of all ages and at any stage of their life.
We offer both group training classes and private sessions. Our group classes are great for socialisation and learning in a dynamic environment, while private sessions are ideal for addressing specific behavioural issues or for dogs who may not thrive in a group setting.
Yes, we cover all behavioural modification for various issues including aggression, anxiety, excessive barking and more. We assess each case individually and develop a personalised training plan based on the dog’s specific needs and the owner’s goals.
As the dog’s owner, your involvement is crucial to the success of the training. We expect owners to participate actively in sessions, practice regularly at home, and consistently use the techniques taught. Commitment to the training process is essential for achieving the best results.

Steve was friendly, knowledgeable and made both the puppies and owners feel completely at ease. The sessions gave us the structure and basics for us to then practice at home. We have seen a positive change in our little Nova’s obedience due to the essentials learnt in the class. Overall a really great experience and highly recommend anyone with a new puppy getting into Steve’s classes. We have also had a few 30 day plans from Steve and they have been so helpful in our training process with little nova. She has come such a long way with Steve’s help and knowledge. Couldn’t recommend enough.Posted on Rhys GoodfellowTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing, would highly recommend. Steve was fantastic - very engaging, knowledgeable, and great with all the dogs. He made the sessions enjoyable while still teaching really useful skills we could practice at home. Over the 6 weeks we saw a big improvement in our puppy’s behaviour and obedience. We’ve been to other puppy classes before and this was by far the most effective.Posted on El DavisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Steve has been brilliant helping us gain confidence with our young dog Floss. We've worked on recall, impulse control, walking on lead and being out and about. He's made the whole process accessible and fun. And we're really enjoying being out and about with Floss as she grows up :-) Thanks Steve!Posted on Lauren BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great experience with Steve, he helped with our reactive older dog Jeff who previously could only walk on lead with a muzzle at night, and helped with resource guarding and food aggression. Within a month, we had him walking without a muzzle on a longline lead, and most importantly enjoying his life! He helped put a plan in place to help us in the home to create boundaries and reduce reactivity, and was always available via WhatsApp for any support throughout the process. His approach was tailored to our unique circumstances (we have another dog), which is something you just don’t get with online coaching. Couldn't recommend more - thanks so much. In just 3 sessions with the Steve I have left feeling more confident with lots of support and encouragement. I can’t recommend him enough if you need support from someone who can give you clear, structured advice and who genuinely cares your dogs progression! Thank you :) ❤️Posted on Kirsty LewisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 2 words that mean so much ,Thank You .Steve has help other people understand our French Bull dog, unfortunately ,Guss was born with eye condition that makes him see 3 ,he was scared when people approached him as he was seeing three of everything, this came across as looking aggressive, but all he was is scared. We where also in the process of being assess for Fostering ,but unfortunately this was put on hold because of Guss reasons. Steve has worked with us ,so we could help Guss and help people understand him. We have learnt that we need to talk to Guss at all time ,because of his eye sight this has been a great help , the work plan that Steve has given us ,has made such a difference ,to the point that know we are now going forward to being reassess for Fostering .If you are thinking of a dog training Steve is an excellent choice. At the turn of the year after one attempt at finding a trainer for our eight month old cocker spaniel puppy we decided to give Steve a message and book in a block of three lessons to work on his recall and some basic lead work. Even before the first session ended we could already see a drastic improvement in Spencer’s recall and Steve was great in talking to us through what drills we need to work on and how we should interact with the dog to get the best result. With the in person lessons and the support over the phone with Steve in a short period of time we have now got our cocker spaniel Puppy off the lead fully and he is even recalling away from distractions in busy parks. At the end of our block sessions with Steve, we asked if we could have a short go at tackling Spencer’s pulling on the lead. After one session we have seen drastic improvements and will be visiting Steve again to work on this further! We can’t recommend Steve enough, he is a trainer who knows what he is doing and more importantly is very good in working with the owners and tailoring the training to them.Posted on Cierra SloateTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Steve has been able to help us with our working breed puppy. From the day we brought Red home at 8 weeks old to now a puppy class graduate and sit champion. Steve has been really responsive and helpful throughout our entire puppy training. We now have a very impressive 25kg 7 month old Doberman puppy who loose lead walks, all the basic commands down and is sociable with other dogs. We plan to continue our training now going into recall training.Posted on SSHTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Steve was brilliant! 3 sessions and our bouncy over enthusiastic pooch is engaged and lead walking like a dream! Her recall has come on leaps and bounds meaning walks are more enjoyable for both her and us! Would highly recommend!
